Thin and mid lightweight with a cottony feel, no shine at all, a bit of body and no drape. It's soft and textured; a wonderful hand feel. A true ikat, both sides are the same. The camera was fooled by the detail in the weave, but don't worry, the charcoal color of the background is consistent and even
